Editorial standards & how we collect data

Every rule on Animals Productions is meant to be traceable to an official source. This page explains how we research, verify and maintain our country data so you can trust what you read — and check it yourself.

Our sources

We use primary government and intergovernmental sources only: national veterinary and agriculture authorities (USDA APHIS, GOV.UK / DEFRA, CFIA, DAFF, MAFF, SENASA, MOCCAE and others) and the European Commission for EU movement. We do not base rules on forums or unofficial blogs. Each destination page links directly to the responsible authority.

How we verify

Updates

Pet-import rules change. We review our destinations on a recurring schedule and after notable regulatory changes, and we display a “last updated” date on every page. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we'll check it quickly.

Disclaimer

We are an independent information service, not a government authority. We aim for accuracy, but rules can change without notice and the final word always belongs to the official authority for your destination. Always confirm with the linked source before booking travel or buying tickets.

Corrections

Accuracy matters to us. If you believe a rule is wrong or outdated, contact us via the contact page with the detail and the source, and we'll review it.
