Taking a cat from the USA to Turkey is straightforward. Turkey does not require a titer test from the USA, and there is no quarantine for compliant pets. Cats have no breed restrictions in Turkey.
From the origin country. From the USA: Turkey accepts cats from the USA without a titer test. You need: ISO microchip, rabies vaccination (valid and current), and an official health certificate issued within 10 days of travel and endorsed by USDA APHIS. No import permit required.

- Rabies vaccination — inactivated/recombinant only (live not accepted), pet >3 months.
- Titer (FAVN) required from ALL countries: blood ≥30 days after vaccination, ≥0.5 IU/ml, entry ≥90 days after the draw.
- Certificate EK-2 endorsed by the authority + passport; a Turkish exit certificate ~48 h.
- Limit: 2 pets per passenger.
